Hello COUGARS Football Fans!
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and had a fabulous Father's Day.
I have a few changes to the schedule for the Leduc Jamboree next weekend.
The GREAT news is: we get an extra game!
The not so great news is we need to arrive a little earlier. But it's not too bad.
OK so here it is:
Arrive at Lede Field for practice & warm up at 8:00am.
9:00am Rams vs COUGARS (North end of field)
10:00am Grizzlies vs COUGARS (North end of field)
BREAK *please bring a nut free lunch for your player. Coaches are requesting that the players please hold off on concession food until AFTER the last game.
12:00 noon Leduc vs COUGARS (South end of field)
1:00pm Raiders vs COUGARS (South end of field)
2:00pm Bombers vs COUGARS (North end of field)
And there you have it!
The rest remains the same:
-There are no locker rooms so it's best to at least partially dress at home.
-Send lots of water and clothes for any weather for your player. And possibly something to change into for the ride home.
-Fans (parents) must stay on the opposite side of the field from the players bench
-it's best to bring lawn chairs for the fans. Bleachers are not always available.
-Send sunscreen and bug spray for your player.
-snacks/lunch MUST be nut free, as we have several players with nut allergies.
-this is a real grass field. There are usually more mosquitoes and it can get kinda muddy if it rains (which definitely makes the game even MORE fun!)
-CHEER LOUD!
-HAVE FUN!
-if you haven't already let me know who will, and who won't be joining us, please send me a text or email so our coaches can plan and work with that info this week during practice.
At this point, the weather is supposed to be decent, so it should be an extra fun Football Day!
