Introduction
Good Afternoon Parents,
Sorry for the delay in getting this out to all of you!!
Welcome to our Bantam Season!!!!
I just want to introduce myself quickly. Many of you know me already but for those parents who are new to us this year, WELCOME!!! My name is Jody Mitchell, i am your team manager for this year.
Just a few quick items to deal with as our season gets underway:
- players must bring lots of water!!!
- the green gatorade water bottles, it is recommended that they have at least 2 full ones for practice. More if the weather is hot.
- dress for the weather!!!
- i recommend to the players to always have a long sleeve shirt in their equipment bag when they come especially when the weather starts to get cooler.
- any medical devices (ie: inhalers, epi-pens, etc), please send an extra for the medical bag so we have access to it on the field.
- if your player is injured, they must have a doctor's note to get back on the field. THIS IS FOR PRACTICE AND GAMES
- parents are not allowed on the field during practice or games unless you are required on the field. When our games begin, i will assign parents for the positions we need on the field.
Player absences:
- please contact me (Jody) via email at bantamcougars@sgdmfa.com or text at 780-490-8574, if your player will be absent or late to practices and/or games.
Huddle:
- Coach Brian has collected all the players' email addresses for this website.
- players can access it through the link in their email. There is an app for their phones as well
- this is a requirement for all players to be able to study their plays, game footage as well as communicate amongst team members. It is monitored by coaches.
- if your player is unsure or hasn't logged on yet, please get them to do so as soon as possible.
