Just a few reminders for practices!
Please pack a water bottle with your child, even better if it is labelled or set apart from the others with bright tape or markings. The kids don't have long to grab water and waste a lot of time searching for their particular water bottle. (The other day I counted 9 green refillable gatorade bottles on the bench...) There is team water available, however the kids must have their own. Also encourage them to drink a lot of water all day so they don't arrive dehydrated- it is much hotter on the turf than it seems :-)
Please make sure your kids eat something before practice - it doesn't matter if it is a large snack or supper, however they must have something in their tummy - they are expending a lot of energy out there and fade quickly if they arrive "empty"!
If your child will not be at practice please let us know - I know some of the kids have other sports commitments during the spring season (including my own) however it helps the coaches plan drills when we know how many are coming.
