Some IMPORTANT housekeeping information ... please read and carefully and take note.
Thank you so much to our parents that kept us informed about their players absence. Thank you to our players who turned up and supported, even though they were unable to fully participate.
If your player is going to be absent, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Email me at Atommomager@gmail.com (when you reply to these emails, it is never to be seen again.)
We are excited to announce we have a scrimmage set up with the Leduc Wildcats in the near future! It is imperative that our players turn out. If they are injured, we understand. They will still benefit from observing from field level, listening to the coaches, picking up on key points and getting a different perspective to the drills and skills. Leduc is typically a large team, both in stature and in numbers. Having the time at practice is a tremendous asset when facing our opponents.
As per my broken record, I’m going to push again for water and appropriate attire. Please ensure your players come with plenty of water (bottles that are easy to drink from without removing their helmets, preferably.) When it’s hot, short sleeves. When it is cold or rainy (like it supposed to be tonight), long sleeves, tall socks or dry-wear. Layers are great, just no hoods please. Oh, and mosquitos are huge and hungry! Bug spray is welcome!
