THIS WEEKENDS GAME - We still need VOLUNTEERS to assist with Sticks/Chains and Clock. We must have 4 VOLUNTEERS to help out in order to play the game, so please email me ASAP if you’re able to assist. It’s a super easy job, so if you’ve never done it, don’t worry ... it’s a quick learn.
50/50 Tickets - Please see me at the field to turn your stubs in. The deadline for accepting tickets is September 27/18
PUB NIGHT FUNDRAISER- Tickets will be available for purchase at Fuhr Field for this event. It’s an Adult Only night out at the Canadian Brewhouse in Spruce Grove on September 29/18 @5:00. There will be a Silent Auction. Tickets are $10.00 each. The 50/50 will also be drawn that night.
CTC Night- Please plan to be on hand September 26/18 @7:30 when the CTC Board shares info regarding the Parkland Food Bank Food Drive.
SANDBAGGING- This is a mandatory evening for our players and we ask parents to please stick around to help. When the bags are filled, there will be a free BBQ. Please arrive at the Black Dirt Company (300 Saskatchewan Ave) by 5:00pm. What is sandbagging? Players all meet at the Black Dirt Company (one of our long-time sponsors). Players are grouped in multi-age teams and tasked with filling sandbags that the Black Dirt Company then sells during the winter. The bags have the Cougars’ Logo, so they are great advertising for our association. We also get a donation for our labour!
