CARE AND CLEANING OF GEAR

I know many of you are probably already aware, but just to be sure, I wanted to send out this info in case anyone wasn't certian:

Washing instructions for the game gear:

*Wash cool in cool water, regular laundry detergent.

 *NO BLEACH!!!

*Please spot treat anything that you think may end up a stain. (blood, grass, mud etc.)

*Please be sure to seperate colors. (those brand new blue socks washed with the white jerseys could have your player wearing baby blue at the next game)

*Please be sure that nothing with velcro is being washed in the same load as game gear. It clings to the game gear and causes snaggs.

*HANG DRY.

*wipe off shoulder pads, knee pads, inside of helmet with a damp, soapy cloth-often (lysol wipes seem to work pretty good too)

*A product similar to Lysol Spray works great for the inside of the shoulder pads.

*A tip i have found handy over the years for the gloves: Have your player keep them on while they wash and rince their hands with a drip of anti-bacterial dish soap. Put them over a bottle to dry. They seem to last longer if they don't go in the dryer.

*Players are expected to show up to each game in CLEAN GAME GEAR.

*Always bring BOTH white AND blue jersys to EVERY Game.

I realise this all seems pretty straight forward, but now you can print this off and get you player to do it themselves.

(hahahahaaaaa!)
