Hey there Peewee COUGARS Football fans!
So with our first week back at the field pretty much under our belts, I'd have to say we seem to be getting back into the swing of things fairly successfully. (I HOPE! )
I'm sure you have all received the emails, seen on Facebook and heard your kids talking about our Compete to Contribute event this season.
This year we hope to win first place with ALL of our players FULL participation.
On Wednesday, August 9 during our regular practice,* our players will be delivering bags to homes in the Spruce Grove area to be filled with items for the Parkland Food bank.
*We will require approximately 8-10 parents to driverify a small group of players to designed area to deliver these bags. PLEASE CONTACT MICHELLE ASAP TO LET ME KNOW YOU CAN HELP.
Then to complete this task, we will once again require full player (and some parent) participation on Sunday August 13 between 11:00 & 2:00 to go back and pick up those bags filled with food!
*AGAIN 8-10 PARENTS WILL BE NEEDED THIS DAY TO HELP AS WELL. PLEASE CONTACT MICHELLE TO LET HER KNOW YOU CAN HELP.
This is a manditory even for the COUGARS players.
Also: as always, if your player will be away at all, please let me know asap so that I can let our coaches know.
