Hello all,
Just a few reminders for this week's practices and game! Please let me know ahead of time if your player will be missing either a practice or the game (atomcougars@sgdmfa.com). If we are missing a player unexpectedly it can really throw the entire team off (as some positions only have one player). The sooner we know we will be missing someone, the better off the team is as we can give their replacement some reps in practice. Please come to games early - players must be GAME READY half an hour before the game starts! If you plan on dressing players at the field they need to be there at least 45 min-1 hour early as they need a full half hour of warm up. All equipment should be in the blue bag that comes to the field every time the team is at practice or games. Although we may pick a jersey or sock colour it can change based on what the opposing team is wearing. The boys are told at practice that it is their responsibility to get their game gear ready (including knee pads changed to blue game pants, etc)!
As for this coming Sunday, arrive game ready before 2:00 and we expect to wear blue jerseys and blue socks. I have heard rumors that Fox Drive might be a mess again this Sunday so perhaps consider taking the Whitemud around to 122 or 111 Street. I handed out rosters last weekend so parents knew who was who based on jersey numbers - if you didn't get one, please find me at the field this week.
